Welcome...

... to Brian Mistrot's little corner.

Welcome!!

It has taken me over a year to get this site up and going!  It is filled with considerable information both writing and boating related.  There's a lot to see here, from the novels and short stories I have written, helpful information for cruisers and live-aboards, lots (LOTS!) of pictures, and even our blog about our travels.

The Novels and Short Stories button takes you to my writing page.  There you will find excerpts from my fictional novels, short stories, my non-fiction living aboard guide, travel guides, kids corner, upcoming books or publications, and much more.  I even post little bits and pieces of things that I am working on here that might not stay long, so check in often!

The Sea Mist Blog takes you to our current travels and what we have experienced.  Lots of pictures here and hopefully will give you a feeling for what our life is like, and the places we visit(ed).

The Travel Guide will lead you to different areas we have visited.  It is filled with information on everything from how to navigate to  an area, places to go, marinas, what we liked, didn't, etc.  There's also lots of pictures.  It should be very helpful for others travelling by boat to these areas.

The Photo Gallery is a large collection of photos from our travels.  It also has the Pic of the Day, which is constantly updated.

The Technical Information is primarily marine related, and sometimes Catalina 400 specific, information.  Many of these postings have been published in Mainsheet Magazine, many others have not.

Feel free to look around.  Sign into the guest book.  Follow me (and hopefully Like Me) on Facebook.  Send me an email if you have questions.  And if you get lost, you can click the Site Map (or, as Captain Ron said, "Pull over and ask for directions!").

Hope you enjoy it!!

Brian Mistrot

PS  If there are links without content, please be patient.  I am working daily to get everything working and uploaded.  Consider this the beta version!!
